Prince’s glory: Silk City dances with joy…

This is a saga of daily labourers who earned their bread & butter, who came with strong mind power with spectacular dancing skills and they stunned the world with their enchanting performance. Its the “Prince Group” of my own town, the silk city who has proved that poverty cannot stop their dancing shoes go dirty. This is on Saturday when the eminent dance troop form the east cost town of Berhampur own a reality show on a private channel ( Colors ) to win the 50 lac rupees & a Maruti Car.The troop whose most participants are daily labour to earn their daily food. This shows that there is plenty of talent in the areas where people are being neglected and if given proper amenities they can excel in various fields. On Saturday night the whole town of Berhampur was awake to watch their lads clinch the winning trophy and make them proud. Big screens were arranged at prominent places in the town to hoist the show and people including top shots in the govt officers witnessed the winning performance of the troop. The 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu was depicted in the performance which stole all hearts and won them the trophy. The players maximum of whom are daily labours were happy and little sentimental and were happy. The leader of the troop Mr.Krushna Reddy told that the prize money was a dire need of the troop as some needed it for building house or someones sister has to be married. Its just like a reincarnation for the neglected town and moreover the neglected group of people.

Om shree Ganeshay Namha…

Yesterday, Ganesh Chaturthi started with a bang all over the country… I too offered puja to the almighty lord Ganesha. Yesterday I cleaned all Idols of Ganesha and offered puja with Laddoo & Gulab Janum. Yesterday was a great day as I offered puja without any wish in mind. Ganesha too looked the most sacred yesterday and I was happy to have his blessings.

Lunch @ Andhra Pradesh Bhavan

         It was a dull Sunday when I with my younger brother tried to experiment something and being big foodies we tried to do it on our daily lunch on 16th Aug 2009. And where we could do it, any guess??? Andhra bhavan on the outskirt of cannaught palace hoisted us and the experience was really awesome. We started from our home at around 12pm and reached Andhra Bhavan at around 1.20pm. This was our first experience in the state owned caterer. Being Sunday we found a big crowd there. A mix crowd with most south Indians and few north Indians welcomed us with a chaos to get their hunger fed. What else I could see “a couple of Sardars” were among the waiting and few on the lunch table ….my goodness i was surprised and i thought of this great race of people as somebody has rightly said that “you throw a sardar to the deepest sea on earth & he will climb up the himalayas on his own hard work”. And i have well witnessed the said line and hats off to the sardars. Here as well how could the andhra bhavan escape. Anyway after standing in a long queue I managed to get two passes @ Rs 70/- each and waited for our turn. The systematic way and the smooth runningof the cafe was just amazing ane people seemed more civilized than any other resturant or cafe. There were around 300 people enjoying lunch & another 100 roaming around for their turn but everybody was cooperating and seemed happy. One guy was shouting the pertaining token numbers and allotting seats for lunch and suddenly our number came and we were asked to take a corner seat. In minutes a heavy thali with around 8 recipes were served us with papad & aachar. The food…..ah.. what a taste.After we finish our lunch we had “pans” and happily returned. Being a foodie who loves south Indian food we enjoyed the food and thanked the fellow waiters. for people like us who live away from home places like andhra bhavan are like the “aanand bazar” where out taste buds are satisfied. Frankly saying that was a great experience for us and I would recommend you all to have a taste of the food at a cost effective way. Its a family restaurant and you can accommodate your family members upto 3 generations ( grandpa till grand children) and have a southern taste & I must tell you you will love it. मैं बहुत बड़ा पंडित या योगी तो नहीं हूँ मगर हर कोशिश करता हूँ के धर्म कर्म मैं अपना मन लगा रखूं। मेरी इसी आदत के चलते मेरा मंदिरों मैं आना जाना लगा रहता है । पिछले शनिवार और रविवार दो दिन छुट्टी थी और मुझे शायद इसी का इंतजार था। बहूत दिनों से मेरे मन मैं एक इच्छा थी के मैं फतेहपुर के शनि धाम हो आऊं तो मुझे मौका मिल गया। शनिवार का दिन था और इससे अच्छा दिन नहीं होता तो मैं सुबह सुबह उठा और नहा धो कर तैयार हो गया। झमझम बारिश के कहते और कुछ १५ अगस्त के चलते सड़को पे लोगों की आवाजाही भी कम मिली। और मैं दोपहर एक बजे तक शनिधाम पहंच गया। वैसे तो मैं दो बार जा चुका हूँ वहां पर भगवन के घर जाना किसको अछा नहीं लगता। और फतेहपुर की विशेषता ये है की मैं जितनी भी बार वहां जाऊँ वहां की शांत और प्राकृतिक सौंदर्यभरा बातावरण मुझे जैसे स्वर्ग सा महसूस होता है। दोपहर का वक्त था इसलिए भीड़ भी कम मिली। शनि महाराज की नभशुम्वि मूर्ती की दर्शन करते ही जैसे साड़ी पीड़ा और दुखो का नाश हो गया।वहां मन्दिर के भीतर पूजा सामग्री और पूजा की बिधि का बिस्तर से बरनन किया गया है तो मुझे आसानी हुई। सभी भक्तो की तरह मैं भी पूजा की थाली हाथो मैं लिए कतार मैं खड़ा हो गयामैं एक बात और बता दूँ शनि मजराज की पूजा की विधि भी अलग होती व्फ्व्फ्ह्व्ल्फ़ फ्फ्ह्ल्सफ्ह ल्फ्ह्स्व्स क्रमानुसार पूजा अर्पण करते समय अपनी थाली मैं से गुड , कला कपड़ा,उड़द और तिल का भेट चढाना पड़ता है । मैंने भी सरे कहे गए पदार्थो को नियम पुर्बक चढाया और शनि भगवन की प्रतिमा की परिक्रमा ki .

पूजा के बाद मैं अदुसरे प्रांगन मैं गया तो वहां भक्तो की एक लम्बी कतार मिली जहाँ श्रद्धालु लाल लुंगी पहने हुए हाथो मैं सरसों का तेल लिए अपने बरी आने का प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे और अपने बरी आने पर वे शनिदेव की मूर्ति पे तेल अर्पण कर रहे थे। और तब हर एक के जुबान से ॐ शं शानेस्चराय नमः एक स्वर मैं उस बातावरण को एक अलौकिक दिव्य रूप प्रदान कर रहा था। उस अद्भुत और मन को शान्ति देने वाली बातावरण से मैं अपने आप को कैसे दूर रख पता अतः मेरे मैं भी शनिदेव को तेल चढाने की इच्छा जगी तो मैं भी लाल लुंगी और तेल लेके वापस आ गया । वहां मन्दिर परिसर मैं स्नानघर की व्यबस्था मुझे अच्छा लगा जहाँ छोटे बड़े सारे भक्त संकोच से परे लाल लुंगी परिधान करके स्नान करके क़तर मैं बड़ी अनुशासित होके शनिदेव की आराधना मैं लीनथे। और मुझ जैसा मनुष्य को मन की शान्ति के अलावा और क्या चाहिए। मैं भी अपने आप को शनिदेव की सानिध्य मैं समर्पित कर असीम शान्ति की एक बूंद पाने की कोशिश मैं व्यस्त हो गया…
